Listening, Breathing, or Glowing

Today I discovered three simple pleasures -- to imagine that my entire body is glowing, to listen with just curiosity to whatever I can hear, or to observe myself taking and expelling easy, deep breaths as my body signals the need. I've noticed that enjoying any one of those pleasures contents me and frees me from fretting, "What should I be doing?" I just breath, or listen, or pretend to glow, without worrying, and doing so, I feel content, and when a little impulse and thought comes, "Write such and such," or, "Put away the clean laundry," or, "Make your self a salad," or, "Say hi to that nice person," or whatever, I do that. Then instead of fretting what I should do next, I glow, breath, or listen until another little thought and impulse says do such and such. I've gotten quite a bit done today, with no fretting and much contentment.
